The explosive power of Christ (that attracts even atheists!)
After Saint Paul’s conversion, he toured the ancient world proclaiming the dunamis of Jesus Christ.
That word, dunamis, appears 120 times in the New Testament, and it’s the root of our English words dynamite and dynamic.
It refers to miraculous and supreme power, which Jesus embodies as the Son of God.
It’s as if Paul were proclaiming “the dynamite of Christ.”
But what was he getting at? Why does Christ have such explosive power, and how do we tap into it?
